Canon CLI-42 Gray Ink Cartridge

The gray ink blends beautifully with color photos to create neutral shadows without a color cast. My fine-art prints on matte paper have that subtle depth they were missing before. It's pricey, but you can really see the difference in gradation.

My black-and-white portraits finally have the depth I was aiming for—the gray tones in the ChromaLife100+ ink really make a difference in the shadows. Prints come out looking gallery-ready, and the longevity is a nice bonus for the cost.

The gray ink in this cartridge makes my black-and-white prints look truly neutral, without any weird color cast. It’s a solid choice for anyone wanting gallery-quality photo results at home.
