I've been using this stand for a few weeks now and the aluminum build feels really solid without being too heavy to carry around. The locking column mechanism gives me peace of mind when I've got a softbox mounted up high.

The air cushioning system on this stand gives me real peace of mind when mounting heavier lights, and the aluminum build feels sturdy without being a hassle to carry around. It locks securely and sets up in seconds.

Finally, a light stand that actually feels secure. The air cushioning in the risers works perfectly, preventing that gut-wrenching drop when loosening a lock. So much easier to set up than my old metal stands.
