The ground spreader locks down solidly even on uneven grass, and the 10kg payload rating gave me total confidence with my heavier camera rig. It folds to 92cm, which slides right into my carry-on duffel.

The three-section legs extend smoothly to 190cm, which is perfect for my standing height. Setup was quick, and the fluid head handles my camera's weight without any sag.

The ground spreader locks everything down tight, and even with a heavy 8kg rig on top, the fluid head pans are buttery smooth. That 190cm max height is a lifesaver for shooting over crowds, and it still folds compact enough to toss in my trunk.
