Profoto OCF Octa Softbox (2′)

Setup was quick and the light it produces is really soft—perfect for eliminating harsh shadows in headshots. The compact size makes it easy to pack along for location shoots.

The octagonal shape gives such a consistent, natural light falloff on faces, even at close range. I’ve been using it for headshots and the compact frame makes it easy to position without a heavy stand. Setup was quicker than I expected for a collapsible softbox this size.

I was surprised how quickly this softbox sets up—took me under a minute the first time. The light falloff is beautifully natural, even when I’m working just a couple feet from my subject. Perfect for tight headshots.
