ProMaster 10X Dome Loupe

I was a little skeptical about a dome loupe being worth it, but the clarity at 10X is genuinely impressive for checking my prints and negatives. The lens is nice and wide, so I don't have to squint or reposition it constantly to see the whole area.

The dome shape makes it really easy to hold steady while checking print grain, and the built-in light ring is bright enough for shadowy corners of the darkroom. I’ve been using it to inspect negatives and the clarity is noticeably better than my old cheap loop.

The 10x magnification is sharp enough to catch fine print and grain without any distortion at the edges, which is exactly what I needed for checking negatives. The dome shape sits comfortably in my hand, though the plastic feels a bit lighter than I'd like for the price. Still, it's done the job wel
