That f/2 aperture makes low-light shots effortless, and the 40mm focal length nails that sweet spot between street and portrait. Snapped a whole evening set at f/2 without touching ISO past 1600—sharp enough for close-ups and still wide for context.

I’ve been shooting mostly street scenes and portraits since I got it, and the f/2 aperture gives that soft background blur I was hoping for. It handles close-ups surprisingly well too, keeping sharp detail even when I’m almost touching the subject.
