Canon E-82 II 82mm lensdop

Losing the old one during a shoot was annoying, but this replacement is a perfect fit—the pinch-release tabs feel solid, and it snaps on my 82mm glass with a reassuring click. It’s nothing fancy, but it does exactly what it should to keep dust off the front element.

Lost one on a hike last month and finally replaced it—this one clicks on with the same solid pressure as the original, and the center pinch grip is easy to grab even with gloves on. Dust and dirt haven't gotten past it so far, which is all I really ask from a cap.

I was worried it wouldn't snap on as securely as the old style, but this center-pinch cap clicks into place firmly every time. It fits my 82mm lens perfectly and keeps the dust off.
