The GF 30mm f/5.6 T/S is a wide-angle tilt-shift lens for GFX-system cameras,
aimed at architectural and cityscape work where converging verticals are better
corrected in-camera than in post.

Movements

  • Tilt of ±8.5° to control the plane of focus.
  • Shift of ±15mm to correct perspective.
  • Rotation of ±90°, locking at -90°, 0° and 90° with 30° click stops.
  • Tilt/shift rotation locking at 0° and 90° with 45° click stops.

The lens reports its adjustments to the camera, saving them into the file
metadata for reference in post-production. A tripod collar keeps the optical axis
centered when mounted, so shifting the lens doesn’t move the camera’s balance
point.

Claire ★★★★★

The shift movement is buttery smooth when I’m lining up a facade, and the wide angle on the GFX sensor makes correcting those verticals feel almost effortless. I’ve used it on a few city shoots now, and the lack of post-processing distortion cleanup has saved me a solid hour each time.

Christopher K. ★★★★★

The tilt-shift mechanism is incredibly smooth and precise, making it a joy to compose architectural shots. It handles converging verticals so well that I've almost stopped needing to correct in post.

Matthew ★★★★★

I’ve been shooting architecture for years, and finally having tilt-shift on a medium format body is a game-changer—no more fixing keystoning in Lightroom. The lens itself is surprisingly compact for a 30mm with full movements, and the rotation lock clicks into place with satisfying precision.
