Category: 120mm Film

The Ilford Pan F Plus Black and White Negative Film (120 Roll Film) is a slow-speed panchromatic black and white negative film featuring a very fine grain structure, making it ideal for large-scale printing applications. Its slow speed also renders a broad tonal range, along with high edge contrast, resolution, and detail, making it well-suited for pictorial and fine art photography. Pan F Plus has a nominal sensitivity of ISO 50/18 when developed in standard chemistry, and can also be developed to higher contrast values for technical, copy, and scientific work.

Steven D. ★★★★★

I usually reach for faster stocks but tried this for a tripod project, and the grain is honestly barely visible even blown up. Tones stay smooth in the highlights, which is exactly what I wanted for big prints.

Hannah Z. ★★★★★

The fine grain on this film is incredible — details come out razor sharp even in big enlargements. It's a slow speed so you'll need good light or a tripod, but the tonal range in the midtones is beautiful.

Abigail ★★★★☆

Shot a roll in bright midday sun and the tonality held up beautifully, though you really do need to nail your exposure since it's only ISO 50. The slow speed is a tradeoff, but for tripod landscapes the sharpness makes it worth the hassle.
