Kodak Professional Ektar 100 is a premier daylight-balanced color negative film renowned for having the finest grain of any color print film in the world. Engineered for photographers who demand maximum resolution and vibrant aesthetics, it delivers an ultra-vivid color palette and extraordinary saturation that brings landscapes and commercial subjects to life.

Unmatched Detail and Technology
Ultra-Fine Grain: Utilizing Kodak’s cinematic VISION Film technology, Ektar 100 features a micro-structure optimized T-GRAIN emulsion. This results in a virtually grainless look, even when creating massive enlargements.

Exceptional Sharpness: Advanced cubic emulsions and proprietary DIR couplers ensure high edge quality and incredible fine-detail rendering, making it the “gold standard” for 35mm film scanners.

Vivid Color Science: Specifically designed for nature, travel, and fashion photography, this film produces rich, bold colors and smooth skin tones that stand out with professional-grade clarity.

Versatile Professional Application
Scanning & Post-Production: Its smooth grain profile and high resolution make it arguably the best color film for digital workflows and high-end archival scanning.

Commercial Performance: With a nominal sensitivity of ISO 100, it is perfectly suited for outdoor daylight shooting, product photography, and high-fashion applications where detail is paramount.

Andrew ★★★★★

The grain on this film is almost invisible even when I blow the scans up to 16x20, which I did not expect from a 100-speed color negative. Reds and blues come out punchy without looking fake, though you really do need bright sun to shoot it handheld.

Harper ★★★★★

Shot a roll of this on an overcast day and the colors still popped without looking fake. The 36 exposures go fast because every frame feels worth keeping. Best daylight film I've used for landscapes, hands down.

Miles ★★★★★

The grain is so fine that even 35mm scans look incredibly sharp. Colors are vivid and punchy without being unnatural.
