Category: Quick Release Clamps

The ProMaster Dovetail QR Clamp Kit is a great way of adding an Arca-type quick release to a tripod, head, grip item, or other piece of equipment. It uses a 3/8″-16 threaded port and includes a 1/4″- 20 adapter. The clamp body also has three strap slots, so it can be used as a quick release system for a shoulder strap. This kit includes a ProMaster 50mm Quick Release Plate (1816) which incorporate two removable safety bolts to prevent it from accidentally sliding out of the clamp.

Evelyn ★★★★★

I was pleasantly surprised at how solidly the clamp kit holds my tripod head, the dovetail slide is smooth and precise. Took it out for a landscape shoot and the quick release mechanism worked flawlessly every time.

Carter D. ★★★★★

The 3/8″-16 threaded port screwed onto my existing head without any adapter fuss, and the whole clamp feels rock-solid once the QR plate snaps in. I’ve used it for a few shoots now, and the release lever is smooth but locks tight every time—exactly what I wanted for quick lens changes.

Ava B. ★★★★★

The dovetail lock is reassuringly solid and I love how quickly it swaps between my tripod and monopod. The 3/8"-16 thread was exactly what I needed for my gear.
