The SmallRig Basic Monitor Mount with Cold Shoe is a compact, highly adjustable accessory mount designed to securely attach a 5-inch or 7-inch on-camera field monitor to your camera cage, top handle, or rig setup. Engineered for fast-paced video production and dynamic viewing angles, this mount provides 360-degree horizontal swivel and 180-degree vertical tilt capabilities, allowing operators to freely position their display for low-angle, high-angle, or eye-level framing. The tilt and swivel tension can be precisely adjusted and locked down using the included Allen key to support varying accessory weights without drifting.

Equipped with a dual-purpose mounting base featuring a standard cold shoe foot and an integrated bottom 1/4″-20 female thread, the mount attaches swiftly to hot/cold shoes, cheese plates, or articulating arms. The top platform features an easy-to-use 1/4″-20 thumbscrew for rapid tool-free mounting of on-camera monitors, wireless microphone receivers, compact LED video lights, or external audio recorders. A protective rubber pad on the top surface increases grip friction and prevents rotational twisting or surface scratching on attached equipment, while dual built-in thumbscrews streamline fast mounting and dismounting on the go.
