The Tamron 35-100mm f/2.8 Di III VXD for Nikon Z-mount is a sophisticated, large-aperture zoom designed for photographers who demand professional-grade portrait performance in a compact, travel-friendly body. Covering the most essential focal lengths for events and people—from a natural 35mm to a telephoto 100mm—this lens provides the versatility of a standard zoom with the bokeh and light-gathering power of a constant f/2.8 aperture.
Pro-Tier Portraits & Performance
Constant f/2.8 Aperture: The bright maximum aperture remains consistent throughout the entire zoom range. This allows for effortless subject separation, creamy background blur, and high-quality results in low-light environments without having to adjust your exposure.
VXD Linear Motor: Tamron’s Voice-coil eXtreme-torque Drive (VXD) delivers lightning-fast, pinpoint-accurate autofocus. This electromagnetic system is ultra-quiet, making it an excellent choice for both high-end video production and candid still photography.
Tamron Lens Utility: Future-proof your gear by connecting the lens via its USB-C port or Bluetooth. Use the utility to customize focus ring behavior (linear vs. non-linear) and update firmware directly from your smartphone or computer.
Designed for the Field
Compact & Lightweight: Measuring just 4.8″ long and weighing slightly over 1 lb, this lens is a fraction of the size of traditional 70-200mm zooms, making it the perfect “all-day” lens for weddings, travel, and street photography.
Advanced Optics: The optical design features 15 elements in 13 groups, meticulously engineered to minimize aberrations and deliver high-resolution imagery across the entire frame.
Weather-Resistant Build: Shoot with confidence in any weather. The lens features moisture-resistant construction and a fluorine coating on the front element to repel water, oil, and dust.
