The autofocus is lightning fast on my D850, and those special coatings really cut down flare when shooting into the sun at golden hour. Sharp corner to corner even wide open, and the 5-stop VC lets me leave the tripod home more often than I expected.

Chloe ★★★★★ Oct 20, 2026

The 5-stop stabilization is no joke—I shot handheld at 1/15th in a dim cathedral and every frame came out sharp, which honestly shocked me for a zoom this size. The coatings also killed the flare I used to fight with on my older lenses, even shooting straight into streetlights at night.

Robert ★★★★★ Oct 19, 2026

The autofocus is lightning-fast and dead quiet, which made a huge difference when I was shooting a dimly lit indoor event. The image stabilization feels rock solid even at the long end.
