The Countryman E6 Directional is a miniature earset microphone designed for professional vocal reinforcement, broadcast, and video production applications where a discreet and secure microphone placement close to the mouth is required. The earset design positions the microphone capsule consistently at a fixed distance from the corner of the mouth, providing stable and repeatable audio pickup regardless of head movement, making it well suited to presenters, performers, educators, and on-camera talent who require hands-free microphone operation. The directional polar pattern helps reject ambient background noise and feedback from loudspeakers compared to omnidirectional alternatives, improving intelligibility in challenging acoustic environments. The extremely low-profile and lightweight construction makes it one of the more discreet earset microphone options available, and the flexible boom can be shaped to suit different face geometries and wearing preferences. Available in a range of connector options to suit different wireless transmitter systems.
