The Godox X1T-O TTL Wireless Flash Trigger Transmitter is a 2.4GHz wireless flash trigger designed for Olympus and Panasonic cameras, giving photographers remote control over compatible flashes and studio strobes from a compact unit mounted in the camera’s hot shoe. As Godox’s first TTL wireless trigger for the Olympus/Panasonic system, it’s aimed at photographers who use off-camera lighting and need reliable, fully automatic flash control tied directly into their camera’s native metering system.

The trigger operates on Godox’s 2.4GHz X wireless system, offering an operating range of up to 328 feet (100m) and full compatibility with Olympus/Panasonic TTL cameras and flashes for automatic exposure and metering. Photographers can trigger compatible flashes directly via the built-in 2.4G wireless X communication, or use the trigger to remote control Godox flashes lacking their own built-in 2.4G receiver by pairing with a separate X1R or XTR-16S receiver.

Multi-channel triggering across 32 channels helps limit interference from other nearby wireless systems, while control over up to 5 flash groups (or 3 groups in ratio flash mode with adjustable relative power) supports more advanced multi-light setups. Full TTL support includes high-speed sync up to 1/8000s, flash exposure compensation, and flash exposure lock, along with sync delay settings and a wireless shutter release function for triggering the camera itself.

A backlit LCD screen displays current settings, channel, and group status, with a rotating adjust dial and dedicated buttons for settings, channel selection, and group management. A test flash button doubles as a shutter release trigger, and a focus assist light helps aid autofocus in low-light conditions. The trigger includes a hot shoe mount for on-camera use and a PC sync terminal for connecting studio strobes directly via cable. Power comes from two AA batteries, and a micro-USB port supports firmware updates to keep the trigger current with new camera compatibility.

Christopher ★★★★★

Swapped out my old radio triggers for this one and the 2.4GHz link is rock solid even when I’m moving around the studio. Setting the TTL groups is quick enough that I can change my key-to-fill ratio mid-shoot without missing a beat.

Claire ★★★★★

The buttons feel solid and the 2.4GHz connection has been rock-stable during a full day of shooting, even with the flash off to the side. I’ve used it to fire both off-camera strobes and a small speedlight without a single misfire.

Ruby ★★★★★

Picked this up used and it’s working flawlessly with my Olympus—the 2.4GHz range is solid even when I’m moving around a shoot. Setup was quick, and the trigger feels sturdy for the price.
