Used fully extended, the Reflector XL produces a focused, controlled beam that minimizes spill, while collapsing it creates a wider spread of light for covering a larger area, giving photographers two distinct light patterns from a single modifier.

The included MagSphere XL magnetically attaches to the Reflector XL, instantly shaping the strobe’s output into a soft, omnidirectional bare-bulb light source, functioning as a useful, more compact alternative to a small softbox. Built from molded flexible silicone with a magnetic base, it’s designed for the same performance as MagMod’s original MagSphere 2 but scaled up for larger studio strobes.
