Mamiya Adjustable Diopter Magnifier for Prism Finders RB67 and RZ67

The adjustable diopter magnifier from Mamiya is a dedicated eyepiece accessory designed to attach to the prism finders used on the RB67 and RZ67 medium format camera systems, giving photographers a way to fine-tune focusing accuracy directly through the viewfinder. This accessory slots onto the eyepiece of compatible prism finders and allows users to dial in a diopter correction that matches their individual eyesight, which is especially valuable for photographers who wear glasses or have slight vision variations and want to compose and focus without needing corrective lenses while shooting.

Built for use with the Mamiya RB67 and RZ67 prism finder line, this magnifier improves critical focus by enlarging the view through the finder, making it easier to confirm sharp focus on a camera system known for its large format ground glass and interchangeable viewing options. The adjustable diopter ring lets the user rotate to their preferred correction, and once set, it stays in place until manually readjusted, offering consistent, repeatable results shot after shot. This kind of fine focusing aid is particularly useful in studio and portrait work, where the RB67 and RZ67 systems are commonly used and where precise focus at wide apertures is essential to getting sharp, professional results.

As a system accessory, this magnifier is intended to integrate seamlessly with the broader Mamiya medium format lineup, reflecting the modular design philosophy behind the RB67 and RZ67 bodies, which were built to accept a range of interchangeable finders, focusing screens, and viewing accessories. For photographers already invested in the Mamiya medium format ecosystem, this diopter magnifier is a practical addition that enhances usability and focusing confidence without altering the core operation of the camera or finder itself.
