Sony Alpha a6400 Mirrorless Digital Camera (Body Only, Black)
Advanced APS-C Mirrorless Camera – 24.2MP Exmor CMOS Sensor, BIONZ X Processor with Front-End LSI, 425-Point 4D FOCUS with Real-Time Eye AF & Real-Time Tracking (0.02s AF), UHD 4K Video with 6K Oversampling (S-Log2/3 & HLG), 180° Tilting Touchscreen LCD, 11 fps Burst Shooting, Includes 1x NP-FW50 Battery & USB Charging Cable (Well Used Condition / Cosmetic & Hardware Wear / Minor Sensor Scratches)

The Sony Alpha a6400 is an advanced APS-C mirrorless camera engineered to deliver class-leading autofocus performance and professional video capabilities in a compact, portable chassis. Anchored by a 24.2-megapixel APS-C Exmor CMOS sensor with copper wiring and an updated BIONZ X image processor with front-end LSI, the a6400 produces high-resolution stills with wide dynamic range, clean low-light output up to an expandable ISO 102400, and continuous burst shooting at up to 11 fps with full AF/AE tracking (or up to 8 fps using the silent electronic shutter).

Renowned for its autofocus system, the camera features an advanced 4D FOCUS array comprising 425 phase-detection and 425 contrast-detection points covering nearly the entire sensor frame, achieving focus lock in as little as 0.02 seconds. It includes AI-driven Real-Time Tracking, Human and Animal Real-Time Eye AF for stills and video, and intuitive Touch Focus / Touch Tracking on the 3.0-inch 921.6k-dot 180° tilting touchscreen LCD. For filmmakers and vloggers, the a6400 records internal UHD 4K at up to 30p using a full pixel readout oversampled from 6K without pixel binning, supported by professional gamma profiles (S-Log2, S-Log3, and HLG for instant HDR workflows), Full HD slow-motion recording up to 120 fps, clean 4:2:2 HDMI output, a 3.5mm microphone jack, and built-in Wi-Fi, NFC, and Bluetooth connectivity.

CONDITION DIAGNOSTICS & PHYSICAL NOTES

Included Components: CAMERA BODY & ESSENTIAL POWER SET. Supplied with the Sony Alpha a6400 camera body (Black), one rechargeable lithium-ion battery (NP-FW50), and a USB charging/data cable.

Exterior & Physical Status: WELL USED CONDITION WITH COSMETIC DEFECTS. The magnesium-alloy and composite body exhibits visible cosmetic wear, scuffs, paint thinning, and handling marks consistent with heavy prior field use. The plastic housing surrounding the electronic viewfinder is cracked, and the side rubber/plastic port door cover is cracked/broken.

Optical & Electronic Status: FULLY FUNCTIONAL WITH NOTED SENSOR SCRATCHES. The camera sensor glass contains a few light surface scratches (tested and confirmed not to affect captured image quality or exposure in standard shooting scenarios). The 4D FOCUS system, Real-Time Eye AF, 2.36m-dot OLED Tru-Finder EVF, 180° tilting touchscreen, 4K video recording, memory card slot, USB charging interface, and wireless modules operate properly.

KEY FEATURES & PERFORMANCE HIGHLIGHTS

24.2MP APS-C Exmor CMOS Sensor & BIONZ X: Delivers high resolving power, low-noise performance up to ISO 102400, and 14-bit RAW output with fast readout speeds.

4D FOCUS with 0.02s Acquisition: 425 phase-detection and 425 contrast-detection AF points provide dense frame coverage and rapid focus locking.

Real-Time Tracking & Real-Time Eye AF: Utilizes AI-based subject recognition to lock onto and track human and animal eyes across stills and video modes.

Oversampled UHD 4K Video & Pro Color Profiles: Captures internal 4K from a 6K readout with no pixel binning, featuring S-Log2, S-Log3 (14 stops dynamic range), and HLG (BT.2020) HDR support.

180° Tilting Touchscreen LCD: 3.0″ 921.6k-dot White Magic display tilts upward 180° for vlogging and low/high-angle framing, with Touch Focus and Touchpad AF operation.

High-Speed Continuous Burst: Captures fast action at up to 11 fps with mechanical shutter or 8 fps in complete silence via electronic shutter.

Slow & Quick (S&Q) Motion: Records Full HD video at selectable frame rates from 1 fps up to 120 fps for creative time-lapse and 5x slow-motion playback.
