I needed a boom arm for overhead product shots, and the quick-change adapter makes switching modes effortless. The sliding mechanism stayed solidly in place even with a heavy softbox attached.

Switching from a regular stand to a boom setup took me about ten seconds, and that sliding arm gives me way more control over where my key light hits. The whole thing feels sturdy enough for my heavy softbox without any wobble.

The tilt-lock mechanism feels really solid, and I love that I can adjust the boom arm's length without tools. It's sturdy enough for my softbox and takes up less floor space than I expected.
