Swapping the original legs off my tripod took maybe ten minutes, and the carbon fiber build feels reassuringly rigid once locked in. The macro length gives me way more flexibility for low-angle shots without having to carry a second tripod.

The carbon fiber construction makes these extension legs noticeably lighter than I expected, which is great for hiking. Setting up macro shots feels more stable now with the added height flexibility.
