RODE Dead Cat 防風毛罩 for VideoMic, NTG1, NTG2, NTG3, NTG3B 麥克風

The zip closure is what sold me—it stays put even when I'm swinging the boom around outdoors. Wind noise dropped to basically nothing during a breezy park interview, and the fur depth is just right for the NTG2.

Finally got one for my NTG3 and the deep artificial fur makes a real difference even in a stiff breeze—no more ruined audio. Snaps on tight with the zip and stays put, which was my main worry.

I was skeptical about zip-on covers, but this one fits my mic perfectly and the deep fur does an amazing job cutting wind noise during outdoor recordings. It’s lightweight too, so it doesn’t throw off the balance of the boom.
