Sony RMTDSLR2 Wireless Remote Commander

I’ve been using it for a few weeks now, and the wireless release is so handy for self-portraits and long-exposure shots without shaking the camera. It works instantly from across the room, which has saved me so much hassle compared to fiddling with the timer.

Used this for a long-exposure shot of the night sky and the shutter fired instantly from across the yard, no lag at all. The fact that it works with both my NEX and my DSLR means I only need one remote in the bag. Honestly, it’s made tripod work so much less fiddly.

The multi-function design lets me adjust settings and trigger the shutter without touching the camera, which is great for long exposures. Only slight drawback is the range could be a bit better in bright sunlight.
