RODE Podcaster USB Broadcast Microphone

Plugged it in and the audio came through crisp and clear on the very first take, no fiddling with drivers or settings. The 10-foot cable gives me plenty of room to move around, and the included stand mount keeps it rock solid on my desk.

I was worried about setup, but the included stand mount made positioning it on my desk a breeze, and the 10-foot cable gives plenty of reach. The sound is noticeably clearer than my old headset mic—even picked up the subtle rustle of my chair without being harsh.
