Finally got this diffusion fabric to go with my deep umbrella, and the size difference is dramatic—it really does produce a much softer, more wrapping light than I was getting before. The material feels sturdy enough for studio use, which was my main concern.

The 53-inch panel attaches easily to my deep umbrella and the light it produces is incredibly soft, almost like a large window. I've been using it for headshots and it cuts down on harsh shadows without eating up too much space in my bag.
