Ilford Washaid (1L)

Finally got around to testing this with my darkroom prints, and the ion-exchange action really cut my wash time in half compared to just water. The 1L bottle lasts longer than I expected for the price.

My last batch of prints had stubborn cloudy spots that just wouldn't rinse out, but a short soak in this washaid cleared them completely. The ion exchange process really does its job on the fixer residue, and a liter goes a long way for multiple sessions.

The ion exchange action actually does what it promises—my prints come out of the final wash with no lingering hypo smell, and I’ve cut my water usage by about a third. One liter has lasted me through dozens of sessions, so it’s a solid value for the chemistry.
