The way this packs down is genuinely impressive; the diameter when collapsed is barely wider than a water bottle. It feels incredibly solid once locked into position, and I love the quick-adjust leg locks.

I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly I could extend the center column without the legs wobbling at all. The leg angle adjusters let me set it up on a rocky hillside in seconds. That extra stability really made my long-exposure shots come out crystal clear.

The way the legs fold up so compactly is genius—it fits in my daypack with room to spare. The twist locks are smooth and quick to deploy, making setup a breeze on the trail.
