Sony a7CR Mirrorless Camera (Silver)

The a7CR puts a 61MP full-frame Exmor R CMOS sensor and the BIONZ XR processor
into the compact a7C body — the high-resolution option in that shape. It delivers
15 stops of dynamic range, 14-bit files at full resolution, and a native ISO range
of 100-32,000 expandable to 50-102,400. Continuous shooting runs at 8 fps with the
mechanical shutter and 7 fps with the electronic shutter, and in JPEG the buffer
holds over 1,000 frames in a burst.

Processing and resolution

• BIONZ XR delivers up to 8x the processing power of previous generations, which is what enables the AI features and reduces rolling shutter distortion.
• Pixel Shift Multi Shooting combines 16 exposures using sensor-shift stabilization into a 240.8MP composite, merged afterwards in Sony Imaging software.

Autofocus

• A dedicated AI Processing Unit driving subject recognition and tracking.
• Real-time Recognition AF across seven target types: human, animal, bird, insect, car/train, airplane, and real-time tracking.
• Fast Hybrid AF covering 79% of the frame in all modes, with full-time DMF.
