Canon EF 85mm f/1.8 USM Lens

The Canon EF 85mm f/1.8 USM is a classic short-telephoto prime lens widely celebrated for portrait photography. Designed for full-frame Canon EF-mount DSLRs (and equivalent to 136mm on APS-C bodies), its focal length provides a flattering, slightly compressed perspective that renders facial features naturally. The bright f/1.8 maximum aperture excels in low-light environments and produces a shallow depth of field for subject isolation. Equipped with a ring-type Ultrasonic Motor (USM) and Super Spectra lens coatings, it delivers rapid, accurate autofocus alongside crisp contrast and vivid color fidelity.
