Sigma 16mm f/1.4 DC DN Contemporary Lens (Sony E)

The Sigma 16mm f/1.4 DC DN Contemporary is an APS-C wide-angle prime lens built natively for Sony’s E-mount mirrorless system and part of Sigma’s Contemporary series. At 16mm on an APS-C body it delivers a field of view equivalent to approximately 24mm in full-frame terms, providing a broad wide-angle perspective well suited to landscape, architecture, interior, street, and environmental photography where a wider field of view and strong light gathering capability are desired. The f/1.4 maximum aperture provides strong light gathering capability for lower light conditions and meaningful depth of field control when desired, making it a practical option for indoor, evening, and low-light wide-angle work. A stepping motor autofocus system delivers quiet and smooth focusing performance suitable for both stills and video use, and the compact and lightweight construction keeps the overall camera system manageable for everyday carry.
