Delivering an essential 27-75mm full-frame equivalent focal length range, it serves as an everyday workhorse zoom for travel, street photography, portraits, documentary stills, architecture, and video capture. Maintaining a constant, bright f/2.8 maximum aperture across the entire focal range, it offers consistent exposure control, reliable low-light performance, and shallow depth-of-field separation, all within a remarkably lightweight chassis weighing under 10.3 oz (290 g).

The optical configuration features 13 elements in 10 groups, incorporating three high-precision glass-molded aspherical elements and one Special Low Dispersion (SLD) element to minimize chromatic aberrations, spherical distortion, and field curvature. Optical Status: EXCELLENT CONDITION WITH MINOR INTERNAL DUST. Front and rear optical elements are pristine and free of scratches, scuffs, haze, or fungus. The internal optics contain a few minor specks of internal dust that do not affect image rendition, contrast, or optical clarity.
