Ultra-Compact Power Zoom Lens for Sony APS-C Mirrorless – 24-75mm Full-Frame Equivalent, Optical SteadyShot (OSS) Image Stabilization, Power Zoom Mechanism, Enhanced AF Tracking (Supports Focus Pulling up to 120 fps & AF While Zooming), 4 Aspherical & 1 ED Elements, Retractable Pancake Design, Includes Front & Rear Lens Caps (Excellent Condition / Minor Scratches Near Front Nameplate)

The Sony E PZ 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6 OSS II is a second-generation, ultra-compact standard power zoom lens designed specifically for Sony APS-C-format E-mount mirrorless cameras, providing a versatile 24-75mm full-frame equivalent focal length range. Engineered with an intelligent retractable pancake profile that collapses to just 1.25 inches when powered off, this lightweight optic is the ultimate travel-friendly companion for everyday walk-around photography, vlogging, family documentation, and casual video production.

Updated for modern high-speed mirrorless bodies, the Mark II version features an improved internal autofocus drive capable of maintaining accurate AF tracking while actively zooming and supporting continuous focus pulling during high-frame-rate video capture at up to 120 fps. The optical layout incorporates four precision aspherical elements and one Extra-Low Dispersion (ED) element to suppress chromatic aberrations, field curvature, and spherical distortion across the entire 3.1x zoom span. Handheld shooting stability is bolstered by Sony’s Optical SteadyShot (OSS) image stabilization system, which reduces camera shake for sharp stills in low ambient light and steady handheld video. Its smooth electronic power zoom slider provides fluid, cinematic zoom transitions ideal for single-operator content creation.

CONDITION DIAGNOSTICS & PHYSICAL NOTES

Included Components: RETRACTABLE POWER ZOOM LENS UNIT. Supplied with the Sony E PZ 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6 OSS II lens (Black), front lens cap, and rear Sony E-mount bayonet dust cap.

Exterior & Physical Status: EXCELLENT CONDITION. The compact composite barrel, electronic zoom lever, knurled dual-control ring, and metal E-mount bayonet show minimal signs of handling consistent with light pre-owned use. There are a few light, superficial cosmetic scratches located on the front barrel bezel near the nameplate text (does not affect filter threading, optical glass, or mechanical retraction).

Optical & Mechanical Status: FULLY FUNCTIONAL & VERY CLEAN. The optical glass elements are completely clean and free of dust, haze, fungus, or scratches; the power zoom mechanism extends and retracts smoothly upon camera power cycles; autofocus tracking operates rapidly and silently; Optical SteadyShot (OSS) engages properly; the electronic aperture stops down accurately on compatible Sony Alpha APS-C mirrorless camera bodies.
